LFW : s/r 2012 , front row report

From the start of the event one person that really fascinates me always is ANJANA SHARMA from img.
she is there at every designers show keeping a check on the guests, the show areas, the runways etc.
trying to spot her at some of the shows where she is busy trying to understand the collections.

LFW :S/R 2012, event setup

LAKEM FASHION WEEK 2012, as always was at teh same venue, the same old people, the same food, the same sponsors(almost), the same setup ...etc , etc...I dont need to give you a peek a boo at the event in general for you can check out previous posts for that !!
although late, a quick round up of what happend at the fashion week...showing you only what was new and diffrent this time around.

 amazing installations stormed the entire venue with these muslin wrapped master pieces.

 a cheaper and a surely eco friendly version of the chadelier !! muslin drapes hanging from the ceiling.

 even the walls were kinda given the same texture to complete the look !!

 tea party seen recreated in sheer muslin fabrics tied up with colorful nylon ropes .

one refreshing change from the last years setup were these installations, brainchilds of some of the country's top designers, placed at every corner to grab the eyes. simple structures are given a dimension by the twirl and twist of the nylon ropes in pops of color.

very truly signifies the state of man today. we are so bound in the materialistic world that we tend to forget our true selves. But thts what fashion is all bout !!
