50 shades of red : MARSALA

“If I could tell you about Red,  I would sing to you of fire Sweet like cherries,  Burning like cinnamon Smelling like a rose in the sun” 
Marsala, the pantone color of the year 2015, has found its presence even before its official announcement. We take you through a journey of this color in all walks of life.

The versatile color has found a place in glossy cosmetics as well as the earthy walls of our house. Its texture appeals the fabrics as well semi precious jewels.


Its difficult to exactly define MARSALA , but anything between maroon and red with a little hint of rust could be its definition. Though at some places hues and shades could range from redddish brown to reddish purple also.


auburn, red, ginger, and burnt red are totally on the radar this year.


The Duchess of Cambridge has been often criticized for her drab taste in dressing, which has been proven ill-founded as she emerges as the Kaleidoscopic Kate.
