Art and what not in ITALY

“What do you think an artist is? ...he is a political being, constantly aware of the heart breaking, passionate, or delightful things that happen in the world, shaping himself completely in their image. Painting is not done to decorate apartments. It is an instrument of war.”
Pablo Picasso
Moving around the lanes and bylanes of italy , all you find is art and design everywhere. be it the architecture, sculpture, painting , clothes, carvings etc  all will capture the eyes of its viewers.

metal sculptures in the most fluid forms.

Italy being a place of love and romance, its streets are high on drama with people enjoying their time out to let their alter ego out into the most creative forms as possible.
Everyone of us has this hidden self or alter ego within us which would come out in someway or the other. Be it art, music, dance etc. The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web.  Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life
